・「この世へ何をしにきたのか」と問われたら、私は迷いもてらいもなく、生まれたときより少しでもましな人間になる、すなわち　わずかなりとも美しく崇高な魂をもって死んでいくためだと答えます。（Ｐ１５ー１６）

☆水野さんの「成功本51冊　もっと勝ち抜け案内」からの1冊。

昨年から再び話題の本書、2004年初版なのでもう6年前の本だが、「生き方」という普遍のテーマなので今でも気づきがいっぱいの本でした。

・哲学が不足し、人格が未熟であれば、いくら才に恵まれていても「才あって徳なし」、せっかくの高い能力を正しい方向に活かしていくことができず、道を誤ってしまいます。

・どのような哲学が必要なのかといえば、それは「人間として正しいかどうか」といこと。親から子へと語り継がれてきたようなシンプルでプリミティブな教え、人類が古来培ってきた倫理、道徳ということになるでしょう。（Ｐ１８ー１９）

☆「才」にあふれた人は多いが、「徳」にあふれた人は少ない。哲学がシンプルであるほど実行と継続は難しいです。

・こうありたいと願うこと自体、それを実現する力が潜在的に備わっている証拠です。（Ｐ５０）

・できないことがあったとしても、それはいまの自分にできないだけであって、将来の自分になら可能であると未来進行形で考えることが大切です。まだ発揮されていない力が眠っていると信じるべきなのです。（Ｐ６１）

☆なんだか勇気が沸いてくる言葉です。

・有意注意とは、たとえていえば錐を使う行為に似ています。錐は力を先端の一点に凝集させることで効率よく目的を達成する道具です。その機能の中心は「集中力」にあります。錐のように全力で一つの目的に集中すれば、だれもがかならず事をなしうるはずです。（Ｐ７６）

☆うまい例えです。

・おのれの才を「公」に向けて使うことを第一義とし、「私」のために使うのは第二議とする。私は謙虚という美徳の本質はそこにあると考えています。（Ｐ１２８ー１２９）

・人の上に立つ者には才覚よりも人格が問われるのです。人並みはずれた才覚の持ち主であればあるほど、その才におぼれないよう、つまり、余人にはない力が誤った方向へ使われないようコントロールするものが必要になる。

　それが徳であり、人格なのです。

・人の上に立つ者はその三つの要素を兼ね備えていることが望ましいが、もしそこに序列をつけるなら、一が人格、二が勇気、三が能力である（Ｐ１３１ー１３２）

☆自分もついていくなら、「徳」ある上司がいいです。

しかし、上司も人間、そんなスーパーマンみたいな人はいない。お互いがカバーしあうのが「組織」なんでしょうね。

・気をつけなくてはならないのは、利己と利他はいつも裏腹の関係にあることです。つまり小さな単位における利他も、より大きな単位から見ると利己に転じてしまう。

・したがって、そうした低いレベルの利他にとどまらないためには、より広い視点から物事を見る目を養い、大きな単位で自分の行いを相対化して見ることが大切になってきます。（Ｐ１８１）

☆自分から見た「利他」だけでなく、家族や会社や、地域といった自分の所属する単位からみた「利他」を考える事が自分を成長させる。

・大事なのは、因果応報の法則のほうが運命よりも若干強いということです。人生を律するこれら二つの力の間にも、力学があって、因果律のもつ力のほうが運命のもつ力をわずかに上回っている。そのため私たちは、もって生まれた運命でさえもー因果応報の法則を使うことでー変えていくことができるのです。（Ｐ２１１）

☆正しい行いをする事で、悪い運命も変える事ができる

・私は、人間の心は多重構造をしていて、同心円状にいくつかの層をなしているものと考えています。すなわち外側から、

１知性ー後天的に身につけた知識や論理

２感性ー五感や感情などの精神作用をつかさどる心

３本能ー肉体を維持するための欲望

４魂ー真我が現世での経験や業をまとったもの

５真我ー心の中心にあって核をなすもの。真・善・美に満ちている

という順番で、重層構造をなしていると考えています。（Ｐ２３２）

・真我が一糸まとわぬ純粋な裸身であるとすれば、魂はそれを覆う衣服に相当します。そ

の衣服には、それぞれの魂が経験してきた思いや行い、意識や体験がすべて蓄積されています。（Ｐ２３４）

☆まとめ：人の中心は、美しい玉で、成長するにつれて多くのモノがそれを覆っていく。

魂を磨くとはよく言ったもので、「苦労」という経験をすることで、こびりついた「モノ」を落としていく行為が「生きる」ことそのものなんですね。

実行すること：魂を磨く事を意識する。（なかなか具体的行動が思いつかない・・）

「徳」を磨くというのは大変なことですよね。でも大切なことだと思うし、人生の中で、徳が磨かれた人間になるということは必ず通過しなければならないチェックポイントのような気がしています。
私も読書を通じて、磨いていきたい！！いや、必ず磨きあげる！（すみません。徳がないので自分勝手に気持ちが高ぶってしまいました）
